Edit: We've lost a highly respected colleague, a true cosmic traveller who really knew where his towel was... I especially enjoyed his "Before C in Sixteen" demo song at the Chimera website.

I'm shocked. Don't know what to say.

Tim was very helpful and friendly to me in our correspondence, and he exuded that in his public dealings, as well. His patches in the synths I have now seem like a little treasure. He will be remembered by many. Deep and comforting peace to his family and friends in this time of turmoil.

Really sad news.
He was a great sound designer.

We have worked with Tim since the end of 2003 and we met him personally when he visited our booth at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim. He later mailed us :
"At least I got to see you guys and shake Bob Moogs hand!"
He was a great sound designer who did sound design for most of our synths (except for Morphine that he didn't want to touch out of loyalty for Camel Audio who also has an additive synth he worked on).
He was a very warm personality and and will be missed in the small sound design community we have here.
We would like to pass our deepest condolences to his wife and family.

My condolence to his families, virtual and real life.
I only had once contact with Tim, but experienced him as an extremly helpful and generous guy.
Rest in Peace! May your family be able to find back to happiness.

I just now found out about this and am shocked. Tim was a big influence on me as a sound designer. I learned quite a lot by deconstructing his patches on many synths to figure out how he created the desired effect. The man was very talented, intelligent and creative. May he rest in peace. At least he left us painlessly instead of though a long, drawn out ordeal.
