Never heard of him before and typically don't seek out dance music, but I've been surprised by everything I've heard from Luca Bacchetti:
Minimal but with a great sense of swing and cool. Excellent use of the sound field and he's fairly good at using unusual sounds mixed with standard electro drums and samples, not just standard tarnce synths.

And this freaked me out the other day. I was listening to The Stranglers' album No More Heroes and while listening to Peasant In The Big Shitty for about the 800 billionth time in my life...I suddenly realized it's written in a very odd time signature for a punk song:
What is that first part in...9/4, 9/8?
Sounds like they switch to something else...4/4 is in there and they may end on 3/4. Crazy, especially for being vintage punk.

Bay Area kinetic sculptor.
many of his designs could help you when visualizing audio waveforms (esp. the 3-period x 4 period device near the end. FM, anyone?)
enjoy,
