I just don't understand where all the doubt comes from. I mean, I could understand being skeptical if he was known for it, but he's not. There is no reason to believe it won't be released today. Besides, it's "only" a beta release today regardless.

Sorry, I just see no reason to be skeptical.

I agree, Andy's customer support and communication have been phenomenal as far as answering questions goes. In fact I do believe he has answered everyone's questions already and no one can think of anything thing else to ask!

Personally, I could care less if he takes two more months. I'd rather have him get it "right" as well. Though I do like my silly lurkers discount idea.

Having a truly great product that's stable and as low on CPU as possible would be worth two more months.

I don't have much money and only a 2.1 GHz Athlon XP+ so I need to save $€$€ anyway.

But, I still like my lurkers discount, idea

I've read on the Gearslutz-forums that the beta (for Windows) will be released this weekend. It was Andy who said it so it seems reliable.

Andy said here that it would be released on Friday(today). It's still very early in the day on Friday where he is though, so there is plenty of time left.
