dont know about melb nowadays but in geelong there's a few newsagents and also Borders stock CM.
Oh i do remember buying it once at 'Mag-nation' in melb city, and i'm sure they have it at borders up there too.
Some places get in the latest editon airfreighted ..its about $5 more.
The non-airfreight editions are usually a few months behind.. its sort of cool cause if you miss out on the airfreight edition , you get a 2nd chance a month or two later!
Geez i was spending a bit of time around the 'bar open' neighborhood, visiting my girl in nth carlton/fitzroy but she moved down here and we made a baby, so ain't been up that way in a little while!

I done got 115 sinth VSTs now and I still lookin for teh one dat mayk me sownd liek teh Timabaland beetz.

Well flip flooper I am 53 and perform to the student audience at Bar Open...which is on Brunswick St a few doors North from Johnston.

Linplug Free Alpha is also very nice free vst instrument. Clear and clean sound + very clean interface

Best free synth? Csound gets my vote.

This isn't a Synth but check out machin by delamancha. Preset 10 after an evolving pad is nice. I used Krakli's S3b with the #27 preset Frosty Pad. Gonna try it out with some other stuff too. It works good. Favs as of now are AlioNoctis cause it's an addition and HG Fortune's LPM cause it's an addiction. And SYNTH ONE cause it's #1.
