I've got all the version numbers back in line, no changes to anything else so for mac people this is the same as the 1.0.4 build.
Trial limitations:
* No host parameters, you have to edit via the plugin gui
* No loading of presets, but you can save them

Sorry, the way you post in here (2 pages in less than 20 minutes), chances are that Andrew already answered.fjolle wrote:There is a weeks demo.. If thats not enough, i doubt Andy would mind resetting it.Compyfox wrote: And with all due respect, Andrew... I rather take my time than saying within 10-15 minutes "yes, I'll spend my hard earned money on this thing and if I don't like it anymore, I should be happy to even get 25% for it if I'm going to sell it".
Fact is, that 1 week is just too less time for proper testing, and now "noise" is implemented again. Great, wonderful. No way I gonna enjoy testing a tool in a serious production session (which will happen soonest next week for me, if ever, and then the demo is half over again).
On top of that, 1 week beta, then prices go up. So I NEED TO (aka I'm forced to) jump on this deal NOW and live with possible troubles later. Not that I think that this will happen, but I learned my lessons with a certain firm from Australia.
Fair or not, as cool as thing might actually be - but this is not worth my time and definitely not the fanboy hype in here either. Money doesn't grow on trees for me, neither does suitable sparetime.

It was, VAT will be added later.
Else prices are like: 99USD/79Euro excl. VAT (according to an earlier post way back in the depths of the thread before the fanboy spamming)
So the only people who get away with a good deal, are those who don't pay VAT anyway. All others have to decide: "now or never".
Really reminds me of another firm I'd rather NOT talk about, right ttoz?

After testing it for about an hour or two, my fears about that you chose to have a "vintage" needle-meter has gone away, its very easy to work with. The interface is great and fast to use. I like the value-readings that appear when controlling some of the knobs. Soundwise it behaves just as i hoped for
I was pretty much aware of what i was looking for and how i'd like it to sound, that probably helped a lot. Besides i was lucky enough to have a few hours free tonight
The way Universal Audio do their demo's is ideal IMHO (full usage for 14 days after activation, save/load of settings too), but sadly its much harder for Andy to do it that way and stay safe (without having any idea of how hard it is to crack universal audio's system, but people who use illegal software are not likely to throw out the money for the cards in the first place).

on a serious note, i think you can get a good idea if this plug in is for you simply by placing it on existing tracks you have and getting a feel for it, it really isnt that hard, is there some finite detail that is so hard to find it will take over a week to dig out, jeez i hope not, yeah noise can be irritating as hell but damn this demo seems cool

I'm keen to buy but the Cytomic site still just shows the logo with no sign of a webstore? Any tips? Refreshing the page does nothing...

Hi Andy. Just doing the first tests with the Glue (only on headphones so far).andy_cytomic wrote:The public beta is launched.
Wow that's lots of posts. Ok I've been flat out getting this thing together, it's bare bones, no installer, no docs, just the business, if you have a non ppc cpu you need sse2 minimum to run it.

I have too say, that the glueing seems to work really well!
The noise is imo still much too loud to really check out the quality of this plugin. I'd totally remove it .. especially because you don't even need to be a cracker to get rid of it.
What's great is that it's just a dll, which you copy in your plugin folder. I really like that!
Edit:
That range button is really a very nice idea! Every Compressor should have one!

Thanks for the post sureno but it doesn't say where/how to buy the plugin... and when you click the Buy link in the plugin itself it opens up the Cytomic webpage which still just shows the logo...
Who are these "everyone that has already shown their support by buying the plugin" and where did the buy from? Coz I've got my card here ready to go
