i like music that sounds like it was made by robots, is stupid simple and old sounding, and is audio dsp entirely coded by ME.

 :hihi:

AMAZED i bothered to adjust host latency and discovered that my controller is a musical instrument :O i only used it as a thing to trigger test notes for synthedit.

The voices in unison sent shivers up my spine. You know me, I tend to need a constant barrage of events to drown out all the internal noise but sometimes sweet simplicity clears things up nicely.

Makes me think of Meatball Fulton of ZBS Foundation and his Android Sisters. Rurik, you might like their Songs of Electronic Despair.

the song is interesting.

but the sounds are very bad,the double bass sounds like a general midi synth

and the guitar isnt fooling anyone (phy mod right?)

its not the song its the sounds, im not saying the song is bad

i'm the other way around, noise and buffalo gals from outside :p

i heard a few tapes of inverness in 1990, something about being drawn out of my body along wires, made me feel all funny  i gave up checking ideas on seeing 1000s of results for 'dichotomous hippopotamus'. it's getting so i can't raise an eyebrow with andy climactic or ruben toto.

i think the sounds are quite good for playing quantised at the same velocity. the 'song' otoh is a bit of twist :)

i don't endeavour to fool anyone :) i'm quite an honest person.

they're ok but i can spot them a mile away.

unless its on purpose, i'd use a sampled bass and guitar(multi..something i forget the word...you know like samples for every note and velocity layers)

yes, i've noticed. your ears are obviously well informed in regards to synthesis technologies.

oh - and now that i've coated everything with stomach bile, welcome back and get some tunes up :)

and don't come around telling me my robot music isn't fooling anyone. it's overtly artificial. you can fool someone with one ping only if you put enough work into it.

I could see a robot band from the Jetsons singing this. :)

sorry realmarco, welcome back and all,

but to be absolutely honest,

don't post in my thread again. i develop these modeling instruments, saying "you should have used multisamples" makes you a bit of a total cock, and i'm shit fed up of people coming along and giving me shit so it looks like i'm the shitty one.

if you can't handle that my models are better and less expensive, find some other way to express it other than trying to take me out of the market by disrepute.

I don't think so, ZBS uses lots of voice actors and effects. xoxos' stuff is pure digital craftsmanship. [edit: It's possible a non-ZBS tribute using TTS was posted at one or more of the URLs I posted.]

My bf would like that a lot. Thanks, it made me smile. :)

"funny" i expounded upon epherma instead of a proven melody. must've wanted something noone would remember. i'd totally forgotten the tune 24 hours later. such are the heuretics of contemporary craftsmanship.

the sounds are good tho. focus on that thought. forget about realmarco's sample company.
