Without wanting to confuse anyone not into designing their own patches i'd love to see the following implemented into any new version of future Sylenth releases..it's just a thought i had whilst programming some patches lately so here's what i'd like in SYLENTH V2.
Four main oscillators and one sub oscillator per voice. A main oscillator can comprise
of various oscillator types including the classic virtual analog oscillators
(saw, variable pulse, sine, triangle, 62 spectral waves with several FM modes)
multi-index wavetables, feature variable resolution and optional pulse-width modulation.
Graintable oscillators apply granular synthesis techniques for independent
control of pitch and formants to warp a waveform beyond recognition.
Formant oscillators sound like running a signal through a massive, modulatable
filterbank with hundreds of resonant bands being morphed by the wavetable index.
and....................
On page A we have Osc's A1 + A2 and on page B we have Osc's B1 + B2.In any new version of Sylenth i would like to be able to route Osc A on page A to Delay - Osc B on page A to Phaser - Osc A on page B to the Arpeggiator and leave Osc B on page B DRY.
There are plenty of modulation facilitie's as is on Sylenth now but this would be a great feature to impliment for even greater sound designing possibilitie's.
I realise there is'nt much space in which to impliment this but maybe a PAGE C at the top of Sylenth dedicated to routing and modulation only would suffice like i have on my Virus Powercore Vst.
What i mean by all this is that it would be a nice thing to be able to do if we could split all Oscillators and route any 4 to any Mod we like instead of having to have all parts going to Delays,Reverb etc.
A dedicated Page C would solve the space issue on routing though i think...oh and err (PWM-HARD SYNC).
Oh err without sounding greedy how about a SUB OSC button for each part aswell.Imagine these features guys and gals? This would blow all and any competition to Sylenth out of the water and i'd gladly pay well for them to be implemented in any future versions...
can't think of anything else right now except maybe (Audio In + x4 Stereo Outs)
thanks rob
