Joe Real has released Jazz Piano, a freeware VST instrument for Windows.
Real describes it as "An acoustic piano that Joe sampled and used on a lot of his productions. Warm with good bass and treble. A little heavy. You need to have plenty of memory."
If you give it a try, leave a comment with your thoughts!
Download (RapidShare).
Note: this is part of a larger collection of Joe Real free virtual instruments that you'll want to check out, too.

I can't seem to find it. One link leads to that republica site mentioned earlier, the other one leads exactly HERE
It's Boogaloo Pro, and as far as I know it's not free. Or wasn't.mztk wrote:Boogaloop, i'm pretty sure i never saw.

totally cool looking, tho'.
correction: spoke too soon: that's a great page, loadsa stuff.
as in, make yer VST, then draw it up as a board, dip it, an' wire her up...yeah, really...
Rax N Trax: looks like there's a new XT style VST sequencer then. Looks cool,
and free. can't wait to check it out.
edit: checked it out, unfathomable, sadly, for now. if it takes longer than
xx seconds to get something going on, ain't happening.
have we had this? kinda borb in a vst:

Hey Pinkjimiphoton et aliae, I again will have a look at this great list. But what about NONO freeware of the past? What about generalvibe's vectorsector, e.g.? I haven't even got a demo version and they're down it seems. I always dreamt of the SC VS, though. I'm (mis)using augur a lot, of course. But I kinda missed out on vectorsector?
I ask myself "if let's say one hundred prospective customers would ask for a vst(I), that was a commercial flop, and is maintained no longer; what would a developer have to loose, who has already given up?"
I guess everybody here aroung can think of some commercials, he always felt tempted to buy, but never did and NOW are no longer available...
I'd really love to see lists where interested users could sign in for payware of the past. I'm a poor boy, so I can understant, if- like me- you have been waiting for the day your desired VST(i) would become freeware. But if it didn't, how about 10$ or 10€? You gambled, you lost. But the developer lost, too... Worth a try?

[EDIT]
Emailed to jessedavidlee about reupping his plugins. I hope something will come out eventually
