I don't think it is possible to replace one with the other. The Glue is far too unique sounding/behaving as a plugin so if you like what it does, you'll have to buy it. You can get quite close with some plugins but if you listen closely, you'll notice it's not possible to exactly mimic it.

Just tried the demo and it does sound very similar to my hardware G-SSL so If you like "that" sound you are in for a treat.

I do miss the sound of the meter pin slamming into the meter wall.
But you cannot have everything I guess...

I support mono operation, but I need to communicate this to the Symbiosis au wrapper. This is on my todo list. The final configurations will be: 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 4-2.

bmanic could you tell me how far the Glue comes to the Gyraf SSL ? I'm thinking about buy a DIY GSSL but wanna hear if the Glue can do the same thing

I have 2 rooms here in my studio, one for tracking/recording and one for mixing/mastering. Will I be able to use it in both? If it's so I'll buy it inmediately, thanks for your answer and time. Have a nice day.

The license is to allow you to use it on one track/album/production at once. That equates to a single client if you are renting out studio time, so if you are working for that client both recording/tracking and mixing then yes you can use it legally in both rooms at once.

NOTE: Another question, I'm going to buy it with my wife's paypal account. Will the plug-in be registered then with her name because of the account? If it's so, will I be able to change it later to my studio's name?

andy another license question here. we are a group of 3 people and we thinking about buying The Glue. is it possible to run the plugin on 3 different PC's, because we haven't a studio room yet. all 3 pc's run the same project of course
