Obviously, these sounds are sampled from physical models. :)
I don't think it's so robotic. I'd just say that's new and fresh. New tools always bring something.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

you ought to :p

it's a synth demo. this is NOT music, beyond a song of vst development. pling3b, piamo, cymbal (1 instance), mass and syng2.

i'm not too terribly pushy or spammy about it :) i have yet to post a thread telling everyone how most of them are wasting their time using guitar samples for their application, or how cymbal samples sound in comparison. is it arrogant to tell the truth in my own thread about it? (a: maybe, but that doesn't mean i'm not a prat).

i conceive dozens of times this much music in the time it takes to make tea in the microwave, which is one of the main reasons why i don't compose (apart from it being difficult to hear low frequencies in this location due to traffic). most of my mental energy for about 4 years has gone towards stopping my brain from doing this constantly.

Then I do care! I didn't read your OP so didn't realise what you were doing.

And spam away about it, at least you have something to talk about

yes, there's no harm in doubting the perceptual faculties of product developers  or the popular perception thereof :hihi:

i suppose in comparison, a bit of weed is rather modest for a professional :? i should probably snort a line of coke, drink, flatly deny it then find some weirdos to harass so most consumers will think i'm like them

it's no worry :)

seriously, i admit that imo the big software companies put a shaft in when pursuing sample formats instead of modeling formats (my vibraphone model will illustrate this for most people..) i endeavour to speak passionately about it, though ultimately profiteering is such a common human behaviour that my concern is, or should be, unnecessary and somewhat suspect

trying to tell people who are the embodied catharsis of consumerism to be responsible is more likely to add to resistance to said. now people think there's one more irate shouting prick in the world instead of someone aspiring towards condensed, sensible solutes :)

i feel now like such a c**t for asserting that availability and prolific products will have some kind of beneficial effect on human evolution and ultimately my own societal experience, in a couple of decades.

Well, somehow I wandered in here, and I'm rather glad I did. This is quite original and a pleasant break from what i usually listen to.

P.S.
I didn't know you could get Genetically Modified sound

Does Monsanto know about this?
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?
