Hi!
I've been checking out the demo version of Cronox 3 today. I tried using mod wheel to control sample start, but it seems like the range is really small, about 0.5 secs maybe. Am I doing something wrong, is there a way to increase the range besides filling other slots in matrix with modwheel -> sample start (and even that wasn't nearly enough range for some of my samples) ?
Logic's EXS24 has also this same problem which is the reason I'm looking for a plugin that does this thing succesfully. Cronox would be really great for me if it was able to sweep the start from 0% to (nearly) 100% on sample of any length, or at least 10-20 seconds or so.

Well, there is a way but I am not sure if you can get 10 or 20 seconds with this little trick...
If I remember right you have 8 slots in the modmatrix, you can type in in every slot the same modulation and the modulation will be increased, this is working with some other destinations but i never tried it out with the sample start destination... Try it out by yourself...
Slot: Source Destination
1 ModWheel 1000 Sample start
2 ModWheel 1000 Sample start
...
Try it out and let me know what happened.

Yes, I already tried that, it helped a bit but it's not nearly enough for my purposes.
I'm trying to use a long sweep as an oscillator and change the timbre over time by modulating sample start address while a sequence is playing. This is a trick I loved to use with my hardware sampler and at the moment I have no software alternative for this.
Besides this issue Cronox seems to be a really nice plugin. If I could get a custom build of Cronox with increased range I'd definitely buy it and even pay some extra
But I really think this would be useful for other people as well so I hope to see a solution for this in future updates.

I've just got Cronox (again) and was trying to do a similar thing with start position, so
