Andy, I feel like a dual mono may help this as stereo seperation phyco acustically evens off transients to me... maybe i am just dynamic challeged though. I think this may be a next step for you. Thnaks for a decent priced good compressor though!
Just out of interest which of the SSL compressors did you test against? The X-Logic rack?

I'm uploading a v1.0.8 to the server for all registered customs right now, and after I've sent out the email with their custom download links I'll upload the Trial version for all to check out. This should fix all the problems people are having in Logic, and all the key stealing issues. For full details please check here: http://cytomic.com/Beta/The_Glue_Beta_Info.html

I'll post here once the v1.0.8 Trial is ready.

am i the only one where the Sidechain doesn't work as expected?

I'm using Cubase 4 actual Version 4.5
and set up a Quadro Channel for the glue and routed a trigger track to the 2nd stereo pair, but only thing happens is that both stereo pair run unprocessed through. The Glue doesn't react on this case. Also not when changing parameters.

I've written the code to make custom builds for each user and zip them up, but I've not got it running on the server yet. It only takes around 10 seconds to build a custom binary like this, but at the moment I have to do them on my dev machine and ftp them all to the server.

So, I did this, but then there was a problem, so I had to restart again. At the current rate it will take till tomorrow before all the files are uploaded, sorry for the delay.

Oh, sorry to hear, and don't worry, i think we all appreciate a bugfree version much more than a to early released one :-)

It was working in earlier builds but was recently broken. When the 1.0.8 Trial is ready for download please check it out as I hope if will be fixed again, as I believe it was related to another bug. I have not changed how the external side-chaining works for some time now.

True, but it's "hovering", for some odd reason it's driving me mad, like "shit, this isn't to 100 pages yet"

I'll be relieved when it happens :phew:
