Just spotted another potential issue with 5.0.4

In Live 7 (latest) add an instance of RMV, load sample, create (for instance) 4 x 4 kick midi loop, hit play in Live let clip play, press stop and watch Lives CPU meter go through the roof. The more instances of RMV the higher the CPU load when you press stop. During playback CPU load is not excessively high - only occurs when pressing stop. Does not happen in Logic Pro 8. Only seems to happen with RMV of the plugins I've tried (of course I don't own every plugin and I have a few to work through but it's 01:15 in Brunei)

Tiger 10.4.11, quad core MacPro.

RMV 5.0.4 doesn't work here. I remember 5.0.2 does well. Don't know why.
dll files are installed in Vstplugins-folder but aren't shown up in VST Instrument selector nor plugin list.

Though RMV 5.0.4 solves most (but not all) weird gfx artefacts in loop display when previewing loops and moving from one loop section to another one, the main problem I'm having in 5.0.4 (and previous) is when I tweak a pad knob; as the pad value read out switches for all 16 pads together, cracklings start and, even though I don't see CPU spikes nor high cpu usage, the only way to make the problem completely vanish from them on is closing the RMV GUI.

This happens on SONAR 8 on a quad core Intel machine at 44,100Hz - 24 bits - 10ms latency - ASIO drivers.

Audio card is a PCI Terratec EWS88MT.

Mario: Did VST Note Names appear for RMV in SONAR 8 with the latest beta? There was no mention of a fix in a previous thread and I'm hesitant to upgrade if it's still an issue? Cheers, Nick.

Nick,

I have to check, but it seems to me there's sadly nothing new in this regard on SONAR 8.3.1.

Furthermore, in a project where RMV cannot find a sample because it's been moved, if I ask "Yes" to the request of locating the sample, SONAR just crashes.

If instead I answer "No" then replace manually the sample then it's ok.

I honestly think RMV still needs some further dev intervention to make it reliable and usable as it should be, and I am not completely happy about the devs silence in this thread (for many days now...). It's so near to be an amazing plugin, but still not there.
