I have the same setup as well. When switching between two projects or opening a new project which has The Glue, Logic quits. On some projects, removing The Glue from a track channel insert will crash Logic.RawTech wrote:Don't know if you receive my email Andy, with the little bug report.
I use logic 8 with macbook (intel core 2 duo 2.4 ghz, Leopard 10.5.6).

Hi Andy
I just thought I's say i'm still experiencing the below with version 1.0.8. I'm not surprised as you never said it was fixed. thought you might like to know

Are there any chances of a native 64bit version by the way?NoBrain2k wrote: Vista x64:

Have all the compressors you've purchased been "better than anything else"?bduffy wrote:I'm really enjoying this thing on dance productions! still not sure if it's better than anything else, enough to purchase...
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I get the crashing as well. Very annoying.

Perhaps I should have said "(significantly) better than anything I already own". I'm always open to something new, especially because the "glue" compressor I like is waay too expensive.

Mostly full mixes, but I tried it on drums, of course. Wouldn't be my first choice for drums, but it wasn't bad.Jay-Producer wrote:What instruments have you used it on?bduffy wrote:I'm really enjoying this thing on dance productions! still not sure if it's better than anything else, enough to purchase...

Thanks for the bug report. I just checked my os info, I'm on 10.5.5 and all is working well. Something must have changed with the .6 update. I'll look into it. Just wanting to double check is this with logic 8.0.2 ?RawTech wrote:Don't know if you receive my email Andy, with the little bug report.

There are no plans for a native 64 bit version or a vst 3 at this stage. I will let everyone know if this changes with an announcement.NoBrain2k wrote:Hi Andy

I appreciate your opinon on The Glue, it's definitely not for everyone. How about we turn these statements around? Would you please let us know what your favorite compressors are? What is your first choice of compressor on drums? And if you don't mind, then what is your first choice on vocals, instruments, and entire mixes?

I like to confirm minor problems with Logic too.
It crashes when you remove glue from channel strip if logic is playing....
I am on OSX 10.5.6 and Logic 8.0.2
although I didn't try glue 1.0.8 yet.
Thanks andy,
kind regards,
Bill.
