Hi
I've just googled that Asio4all is availiable for 64bit OS now too.
Has anyone experiences with this, either in NT x64 or vista x64 and has used it together with Cantabile 64bit version?
Does Cantabile 32bit work in such an 64bit environment as well?

I've tested Cantabile x64 and ASIO4ALL x64 (though only briefly) and didn't encounter any problems.TiUser wrote:Hi

Are there any known issues with Realtek audio chips or any other audio HW that does possibly not work? Or is this a non issue when standard audio works under windows vista 64 bit...?

Thanks Brad for that hint. I've checked the Asio4all Forum
Asio4All itself exists in a final release as double 32/64bit version 2.9
The Realtek ALC888 chipset seems to be used on many motherboards for years.
I've checked the specs in realteks datasheets and found it at least on paper quite useable - at least for live applications. It's roughly on CD level with some tweaks here and there.
So as long as Access does not support 64bit drivers so that I can use the really good converters in the TI the realtek sound seems to be acceptable to check out audio on a 64bit platform.
Unfortunately I have to consider a double boot system when I go for a new PC as not everything else I need is availiable as 64bit too...
