I think the UAD 4k has more highs so it creates the illusion of more width
I noticed this with the Duende too where comparing to TheGlue.

NAW, i Read. You apparently dont understand. This is comparing a board, not waves... and they are comparing UAD 4K. Im talking about Waves SSL vs The Glue... people just lightly skimmed over that. If you have any comments post them.

Ive never used the UAD 4k, so I dont have an idea sonically, but what i do know is the WAves

If anyone wants a NEUTRAL compressor this and Vienna's compressor are the only two I know of that offer this.

It is hard to compare with other compressors thus. Due to the harmonic and sonic differences.

I can download the demo of The glue as i have the waves ssl collection if anyone is bothered. The Glue is more versatie that the Waves SSL comp plus it sots inbeteween the E and G -Series models

I already said I downloaded the trial version, but i guess u didn't read that. lol, I just wanted to hear other ppls opinion about WAVES vs. The Glue.. but i dont think you understood that either lol. Oh, the only audio I found was UAD 4k vs. The Glue. If you know where the link is, please post it

I also have my opinions about the Glue vs. The SSL Waves, which i previously posted as well lol, I dont think u saw that. but it's okay... Anyone else feel free to post ur thoughts specifically about waves... i wanna see if its just me that feels the same way about waves vs. the glue.. but in all seriousness, i've been diggin scoobs, u got it.. post it. thanks
