Hope you find the strength to move on.
You just made me throw away my cigarettes. Been smoking for 2 years, tried to give it up several times over the last couple months.
The brain finds all kinds of ways to justify its addiction and starts working against you. I'm young and can stop in time, the ritual aspect of smoking is useful to me etc etc etc...I'm so f**king tired of that constant battle between chemicals and sanity.
So yea, I quit. May my brain help me.

anyways, we will be having a small graveside service led by my sister satch (a universalist unitarian minister as well as the baddest ass horn player on the planet) on friday the 3rd of april here in rockville ct at the "grove hill cemetary" located on "grove st" (a connector between rt31 and rt 74 (main st) (exit 67 off I84, turn towards rockville, cross rt 30, and 31 becomes grove st) ....down a ways, on the right, is a tiny road called cemetary drive or road or some such shit...if ya look you will find it.
this will be at 2:30pm on friday, all are welcome that are local or whatever.
paypal donations towards final expenses (we have no insurance or anything and have borrowed to pull this off) are gratefully accepted thru my brother Wally's paypal at jcpocius at yahoo dot kahm if ya can spare it.
if not, no worries.
it is supposed to rain, so dress accordingly.
we reccomend colorful tiedies, personally and flowers, smokable and non.
actually, in lieu of flowers, a small donation in Juliane Pocius's name to the lung cancer alliance
( http://lungcanceralliance.org/ ) is appreciated.
we are trying to pull off two memorial benefits, one soon to cover all the expenses featuring local talents and who knows where (if folks manage to pull it off)

and one late in the year that will be more of an outdoor festival to raise money to hopefully establish a scholarship fund in joob's memory
that will live in perpetuity for an underpriveliged student at the college she was attending.
jules was studying political law (4.0 avg, on the dean's list) when this f**ked up disease came and laid her low with a minor in ethics...
so this scholarship will be for political science majors, but ONLY if they take a minor in ethics...too many unethical politicians out there!!!!!!!
we like to think this idea would tickle jules greatly.
so amyways, i gotta go

also, the pocci's loving condolences to the fam and friends of NC, Bonzo, and Tattie's dad among others recently to lose the good fight.

Take a break man and let/give yourself time to reflect: remember all the good times which i know you have many, many fond memories of dude before the ceremony. Are you going to say some words or play a song - if so then plan it as i spoke at a funeral once and i did not plan my speach and i just ceased up and then cried (yeah can you imagine me in tears?!) well anyway im also shit with my choice of words or whether i should say something or not but i have always been straight up with you Jimi so their ive said it.
