Funny how such a simple thing can take off in various directions!

My take with these things usually is: I'm afraid of users clicking the hold button without exactly knowing about it. It's one of these things that have to go through double safety to ensure maximum user satisfaction...

We'll see...

Thanks - I hadn't thought of that. Alternatively, I suppose I could also pull out the MIDI lead (or turn off the power to the keyboard) with the sustain pedal down and then let go. :D Neither of these is quite as straightforward as a simple hold button though, methinks. Anyway, I'll leave it there - don't want to be a bore about it.
Sure... Am not arguing against the feature, just mentioning what I do in its absence.

Sometimes I also turn on the arp for a different effect

Yo Urs! ;) Can you give us an update on where you're at with Uhbik-G and X? Also, do you plan to release both at the same time?

And after that (sorry, I'm curious), you get on Zebrify or update Filterscape? And you still have plan to fix the mouse/interface bug (the one where the host stop responding when you hold the mouse on the interface) do you?

P.S.: How did you find your experience of MusikMesse?

When I didn't have a hold button, I'd sustain and change tracks, then release, then change back. Took less than a second altogether. To stop the sound, sustain momentarily. No need to turn off MIDI.

ahhh... what I meant (by turn off midi) was unclick the record button for that track.

Musikmesse was exhausting as always. Hence I spent 3 days with a cold in bed. But all items you mention are on track, just absolutely no dates given. I'm very famous for not meeting the most conservatively estimated deadlines.

Er I meant schleim schlamassel.

This is my very first German play-on-words, based a previous English play-on-words, based on a yet previous German phrase, from which I do not actually know what a "messe" is. So please tell me if it's even the slightest bit funny.

Depends on whether you think the phrase "slime mess" is funny! ;)
