Ok, this thread's all about how to use the CSR reverb. What a fantastic tool this is!
How i want the thread to go: We discuss techniques of CSR, explain all of the knobs (pretty self explanatory), some popular settings, do a dry vs. wet comparision, just learn the CSR in and out so that you have reverb conquered in your DAW.
Me first -
I find it hard to control the IN and OUT phase in the I/O tab. Meaning, i find it hard to find the sweet spot. Say i want reverb on a dry classical guitar track for a popish sound or a ballad sound. I want to widen the reverb but it shouldn't show too much.
How do i do this using the phase controls?
Also what are some settings for guitars? (i know its broad - just give it a shot).

Yup. The Hall is a great, clean sound. Occasionally I'll need something else. But for just a little ambience, bring the WET down to 3 or 4%. For a lot, well... you get the idea.ATS wrote:BERFAB wrote:Step one: Open CSR Grand Hall insert preset.

yall are such wussies.
Comeon! Roll your own patch. I'm sure the pros do their own thing instead of using the reverb presets.

I'd be more inclined to think most pro's work along the lines of Berfab. Find what works for them, and stick with it. If they are on a deadline, they waste as little time as possible. Stay with the tried and true.keyman_sam wrote:yall are such wussies.

There are exceptions of course. But what do I know, this is a hobby for me.
Cheers
