Morris wrote:Hi Andy,

Thanks for the update to V1.011. You do not hear de keysignal in sidechain mode :D. I did some short tests and at the moment The Glue did not crash on exit of Cubase 5.

Thank you Andrew!!!!
1.0.11? I didn't get this update, did anyone else besides Morris?
I sent this update early to Morris because he is using Cubase 5 and was having troubles with crashes, so before sending out the build and wasting everyones time I wanted to check it fixed the problem on a few select test systems first :)

Also some I have had to double up on some emails since a few of the files didn't make it to the download area, so sorry for sending the email twice to a few people, but I wanted to make sure everyone got a working link just in case.

Good to hear it's all working properly now. Amazing what happens when I finally got a build of Cubase to debug in. Took a whole half a day to fix :)

I have a question whether it is possible to get a longer test period demo? I am paid user already but I thought that I may want to use Glue when I have a need to work in other studios. So I'd like to have a limited time build with no other restrictions to prevent folks from copying it.

Good news that you got everything sorted Andy, congrats. Just one lonely "bug" left ;)

Looking forward to the 5.5 version and finally seeing what all the fuss is about :D

I got my build - thanks Andy. I love this thing.

Try again. It tends to do that on first attempt.

I have 3 guesses:
1. Paypal problem on my side.
2. Paypal problem on your side.
3. Girlfriend said no way you are working this weekend...

Sorry about the hold up. I did send the builds out, but I changed the password on the email account which I forgot to change in a script somewhere so all the builds were made but the email didn't get sent. I have corrected this now and have re-emailed everyone, so please let me know if there is any further trouble.

Sorry about the Trial not playing nicely with Cubase SX3. I currently don't have Cubase SX3 to test with. As soon as I do I'll make sure it works. Another reason the Trial will say it's expired is if it detects any strange dates and times on your system, as this is the only way I can make sure of the actual time since there are loads of different hacks to make simply calling the system time not be secure. If this is the case I suggest trying The Glue on another machine.

You can download and install the Trial version on a new machine and it will work for two weeks. The Trial version has load disabled.

You can also load the full version of The Glue onto a usb key and get the host to look for plugins in a custom folder. You can encrypt the usb key data using a free usb key encryption application such as: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrueCrypt which will require a password to access the data.

That's right, simplest answer never really comes to my mind first.
Thanks!
