OS X RMV VST multi-options not working in Kore2

Hi,
I copied this from the last Beta thread as it got lost
I recently added Kore2 to my musical arsenal and on testing this latest beta I found that the multi-out VST versions do not work... I have the S01 option only on both... tested them in Live and the extra outputs are available there but not in Kore2.
Would be very grateful if you were able to look into this at some point.
The AU version works btw, though there is only a 8 x stereo/8 x mono option... the 8 x stereo/20 mono VST version would be my perfect output configuration! Smile
(One of my main aims with Kore2 is to be able to 'transfer' multi-instrument drum tracks between Logic and Live, allowing experimentation with Live's session view and Logics superior midi editing.)
Many thanks,
Alan

How are you implementing the multi outputs? You have to do that in Kore itself.
Insert RM on a source channel. Cmd click on the slot where RM's loaded and choose add extra output. Repeat as necessary.

Within Kore, do I need to add the extra output slot *before* RMV will display any additional channel output options?
Maybe the AU and VST multi-versions operate slightly differently... but when I load the AU and click on a pads output it offers me output options right away. With the VST only S01 is available (on all variations).
Thanks for your time,
Alan

Indeed it is.taoyoyo wrote: Hey there, (is it Eric?)
Depending on whether the plugin uses dynamic ins and outs as a VST, it very well may.Within Kore, do I need to add the extra output slot *before* RMV will display any additional channel output options?

I was just editing my post slightly to give more info... I'll try this out when I get home this evening. Thanks Eric!ew wrote:Indeed it is.taoyoyo wrote: Hey there, (is it Eric?)Depending on whether the plugin uses dynamic ins and outs as a VST, it very well may.Within Kore, do I need to add the extra output slot *before* RMV will display any additional channel output options?

(Not really linked to this but I seem to be having quite a few occasions where the Kore Controller doesn't turn on when it's launched within Logic and I have to unplug and replug the USB cable... is this a unique experience or is it fairly common?)

If you've had your Mac in sleep mode- yes, it is. The USB ports won't wake up properly.taoyoyo wrote:(Not really linked to this but I seem to be having quite a few occasions where the Kore Controller doesn't turn on when it's launched within Logic and I have to unplug and replug the USB cable... is this a unique experience or is it fairly common?)

Okay, got home and tried this out.
The AU functions fine... the extra outputs are available on the GUI before adding an extra multi-channel.
The VST does not show up any multi-out options on the GUI at all (S01 is the only option) despite the right-click option to add extra output being available in Kore. There is no way on the GIU to assign that channel.
Kore becomes silent after adding the multi-VST channel. Last boot up in Logic I was playing the RMV from a keyboard whilst adding the extra output, which caused the drums to turn into a buzzing noise My Bloody Valentine would be proud of.

Hi Peter,
I wondered if you had any comment to make on the situation with the Multi-out VST not working in Kore2? I don't know if this is this something out of your normal trouble-shooting jurisdiction or how important a fix is?
I would really like to be able to use the multi-out VST option within Kore2 and wondered if this is fixable from Linplug's end?
Thanks muchly,
Alan

Zombie Thread!!!
Hello,
I wondered if the above problem might be looked at sometime in the near future.
Multi-output VST version is still only showing up with S01 in the pad output pulldown menu. This would be a very, very cool thing.
It looks to be a issue directly with Kore2 as I loaded up the Multi-version into Live 8 and the outputs show up there.
Many thanks,
Alan

Thanks for getting back to me Peter.
Maybe the upcoming update for Kore2 will fix the issue! In the meanwhile there is the AU version, which works fine (just not with mono outputs).
