:-) Thank you very much. Funny this is in a thread regarding a TAL synth since the tal 101 bassline was used a lot on that album.
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I just downloaded this puppy last night and sent the dev a few presets. This thing sounds GREAT! I love Elek7ro's filters, fast LFOs and FM capabilities.

So two oscillators and quality filters can still make wonders ! Very responsive unit, I love it.

These two guys make incredibly good stuff, which some other developer would push at a price well over $100 per item (you may argue whether Kunz&Knobel VSTs are worth less or more, I just state what I feel from my experience from exploring the KvR database).
And thank you Sirs, venerable Herren Kunz und Knobel!
You rock guys!
Absolutely! I would recommend this synth over the Ableton Analog. Better sound, sort of more flexible (or at least, more flexible to my needs), and free!

PS: I used to be an Xhip whore, and used to worship Asynth. Those days are over.

A synth still rules .IN fact these 2 complement each other verry well
I do prefer the filters of 'a synth' ..lovely banspass filters ...
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

It's a keeper for me, didn't really dig the other synths as much, the TAL fx are awesome though

Hey TAL dev guy...check your email (pkstar@gmx.ch) if you're reading this thread. I sent you 32 quality presets for your new synth. Feel free to include them in the final version if you like, otherwise I'll just post them into the KVR banks & patches database.

I love TAL, I think I have every other TAL freebie, but I'm not crazy about this one. Filters are definitely very warm, analog. Problem for me is it doesn't seem to be able to get a nice meaty initial punch, no POW! So it's just a uniform warmth that to me ends up a little blah.

EDIT: after a second look it's starting to grow on me. The presets are very blah, but turning up the Osc's in the mixer punches up the sound.

while i do like this synth, i have to agree with the "no punch" thing... its one of those vsts that i want to love, but can't quite get there...

Ok, Ok, What do you all say about a One Synth Challenge? I know this little gem has a few quirks yet to be sorted out, as stated here in this thread. But I feel that after tweaking around on this guy/girl for a while now its ripe for a "ONE SYNTH CHALLANGE". I know some one if not some people have all ready addressed this idea her in this thread as well. And if someone has allready created such a thread for this idea or has started the challenge allready please excuse this post, and add a link to it if you have the time here on this thread so we all know whats up with that.....

But if it hasn't yet been done than let this post be the start of it. As I'm fairly new to the KVR vortex I would appriciate any input on this matter as I would like to take the rains on this (unless again its been done).

I would assume that it would be appropriate to then create another thread for this and use a poll type secondary thread when the time comes to vote on all submited entries. It would also be great if at the end we could assemble all entries into one downloadable file/album, if that seems like a good idea let me know, of course that would be done after voting and a winner is declared.

In addition I have seen that many such challenges have had prizes included in the winning. Some times these are donated by other interested companies as well as indeviduals here at KVR. It would be great to have that available to the winner as well. I myself unfortunatly do not have much to offer, in fact nothing at all but sample material, that would also take me like seven years to sort threw and assemble in a decent library.... :? sorry Maybe some people out there have ideas on this or are willing to contribute to the prize cache?

Any way I'll let you all get back to your KVRian lives. If any of you are interested in this proposal or have some ideas and guidence please PM me here at KVR and we'll get this going. In the mean time I will start the respective One Synth Challenge thread and will post the link here asap. And agin if this has been done all ready please let me know and I'll edit the upcoming challenge thread with the link to the correct and current One Synth Challenge thread that has all ready been done. Thanks again for your time,

I'm liking the sound of U-NO-62, but it's quite high on CPU. For its 6 voices it's robbing me of 20% of CPU cycles on my 2.2 GHz Intel Core2Duo. I've expected a bit less for such a simple synth structure. VAZ can do it efficiently. How about some optimizations?
