Hi,

I just encountered a strange problem when using CronoX with Reaper. CronoX is loaded and when hitting Reaper's "play" button there are two ways to go:
1. the CronoX GUI is shown and Reaper starts playing the song
2. the CronoX GUI is hidden/closed -> Reaper crashes caused by the cronox3.dll

This happens also when using the 6-out version of CronoX. Actually I have no idea what this problem could be and there are several other users at the Reaper forum who also encountered this problem.

It would be very helpful if this bug could be investigated!

Any updates on this? (Pretty much using Reaper full time now, and hate having to avoid using CronoX...)

One workaround in Reaper is to activate two VST options: go to the preferences -> VST and select "Better buggy process...." and "dont flush synthesizer plug-ins on stop". I tested it some time ago so I do not know exactly which of these options helped but here it works fine now.

I had 'better buggy process...' enabled. Turning on 'Don't flush synth process' solved the problem.
