Why dont you get SSL then?
Marquis compressor sounds different than waves SSL compressor most of the time,but maybe somebody knows some miraculous settings which can sound close...who knows?

Aren't there some presets that mimic the SSL? I know Alexey coded the mode3 as an SSL mode but you have to set the 3 compressor program dependency knobs to low values. I don't remember what values though. Do a search here or check the voxengo forum.
