Bumb!
Just to stick this thread! It could be I found the time to participate. If any synths ever could arse me to join a one-synth contest, this would be among the safe bets. Thanks again TAL!

Here's my attempt: there are nine instances of Elek7ro in all, three of them in a kind of drum rack built inside Bidule to get some velocity sensitivity into the hits. The first lead is also mapped to a breath controller, although I think there are some more tricks I could pull to get better control over the sound using Bidule.

Enjoy

Download 320 mp3: http://www.sendspace.com/file/r6zzy2
Had a go with it today
Nothing new but i feel it's ok.
Made using 10 instances of Elek7ro, some TAL-Dub (without filtering), The Glue, a hint of Redline Reverb plus Logic's own compressors & EQs.

Track's called TAL-Tastic (obvious name isn't it?
)
It's done with 8 instances of this little piece of software. Various Kjaerhus Classic effects have been used as well.
It's a sort of Deep House thingy with an 80s feel to it
(file has been re-upped since the time for the original had been exceeded)

I hope you're just kidding. Nearly every serious delay plugin uses hipass/lowpass filters in the feedback loop for smoothing out the repeated sound. I used Logic's Tape Delay as well as Audio Damage's DubStation in my track without thinking about it break the rules.serve wrote:@ToguAudioLine
Hey, now........... Did you turn those filters off on that TAL-Dub![]()
If you'd seriously forbid this kind of filtering, you also have to disallow reverb plugins because they all use filters to simulate room reflections - at least to cut off boomy bass at shattering treble.
Maybe you should change the rules to something like "don't use filters in the direct signal path, masking the sound character of the source"

Yes no filter in the direct signal path, some delays, reverbs, and other effects do have that and I would like to see those not used. However I'm not sitting next to everyone while they are making their tracks so
** One last thing..... Thanks to everyone who has submitted so far. This looks like it will be a nice turn out! I still have'nt had much time to work on my own submission
Agh........Some body kill me, Ms. "How do I do my job again?" is calling..........

I didn't know where to put the mp3 so I opened a page on a random mp3-site. What a horrible site it is! But it will do for just this one track:
http://vibecat.com/monopoli
Next to 16 instances of Ele7tro I used TAL-Dub2, TAL-Tube and ReaperEQ in Tracktion 3 and "mastered" the whole thing with Izotope Ozone4.
(it's quite a cheesy track, but it was just a try-out of the synth for me)
UPDATE: download also here:

FYI:
For all those who have submitted and or may please keep in mind that when I create the new thread for the voting process I will be using the links you have used for your current submission. So if you are using a timed file hosting site you may need to repost your submission.... Just ad *RESUBMIT* at the beginning of your pst so I know its not a new submission... THNAKS!
As stated above Microsoft has a nifty little place for this:
http://skydrive.live.com/ will get you there....
