Now this thing is quite something.Installed it in my iphone and having a great time learning how to use it.I believe it is a genuine new way of coming up with sounds.has a steep learning curve but persist and you will be rewarded.quite like nothing i used before. Thoughts members?

I've been playing with it on my new iPhone for a couple of days. Really impressive - great sound and I love all the gizmo's whizzing round the screen. I've just downloaded the VSTi version - the idea of integration is nice but since I have disabled the wifi card on my DAW I probably won't be able to unless my wifi router picks it up and sends it through the ethernet cable.

anyone using the win VSTi version in a host?
i seem to have problems to have it recognized like an instrument and when loaded on Chainer gives an instant crash...

plus , is it me or the few hosts i managed to make them "see" it seem to see it as an FX instead of a synth?

I got this app too.....But I'm so stupid I guess I cant get it to make any sounds. But then again my girlfriend tends to get irritated when she sees me emmersed in my iPhone, so I have'nt had much time with it

I keep thinking thats intentional somehow...
From what I understand to get sound you need to route an audio in...

Either way, my interest in this is pretty much dead until someone tells me its bug free.

Jasuto looks promising but yeah lots of crashes on my PC too. Not exactly ready for distributing yet is it. Stay Tuned?

This is Chris from Jasuto,

The VST version is a straight port of the iPhone code using Juce. I did the entire thing in an evening (both Win32 and OSX). The plugin seemed to work well enough on my machine, so I released it just to let people get a very early preview of Jasuto.

The iPhone version is really the only reliable way to run Jasuto at the moment, in fact I was thinking about removing the VST version until the proper plugin is finished, but lots of people actually can run it without problems so I keep it up there.

I've got a couple of VST guys helping me with the next and formal release of the plugin and currently what we have running is nothing short of amazing. Also we decided to drop Juce just because it's way to big for what we needed considering all the DSP/GUI code is our own.

Anyhow, you can try to get the VST running it seems to have about a 50% success rate

but definitely be on the lookout for the next version. Also if you are interested in beta testing shoot me an email.

Just found version 2.1 is available for the iPhone. It now has a sampler, band limited oscillators and a preset file browser among other updates. Sounds fantastic so far!
