The keyboard. The Alpha Juno 2 has a longer board with velocity sensing. Inside they are exactly the same. The Alpha Juno 1 can sense incoming velocity over MIDI and respond accordingly, but its built-in board doesn't send it.Muzik 4 Machines wrote:if you get a pg300 you'll be all set (or a BCF/BCR, or one of the many juno/mks apps for PC and MAC)
BTW, what's the difference between the alpha 1 and the alpha2(which i own)?

Thank you for acknowledging the difference between a PC as a musical instrument, a PC as a multitrack recorder, and a PC as both.Hskovlund wrote:
Hi
Sorry for delayed response. Have been on vacation. Read all about my beloved Netbook and its performance in this thread.

Thx! I have looked at the BCR2000. seems cheap and awesome. Until then I control it from Orion, which have a wonderful midi-out module with freedraw, LFO and step-seq tools to control various parameters. Really cool. Too bad the JX3p does not have proper midi implimentation too or I would have bought one ages ago.Muzik 4 Machines wrote:if you get a pg300 you'll be all set (or a BCF/BCR, or one of the many juno/mks apps for PC and MAC)

Like Scot says, only difference on alpha 1 and 2 is the keys. They both respond to velocity and aftertouch.
You are wellcome. At status quo in Netbook production, you better acknowledge this distinction or you will highly likely be in for some troublejames0tucson wrote: Thank you for acknowledging the difference between a PC as a musical instrument, a PC as a multitrack recorder, and a PC as both.

Looks like a tweakers dream M4M! But how come you don't show the keyboards?
I think I catch a glimse of a good old Roland Jx3P with pg-200, true?
What else are you hiding?

What are your instruments? (do I see one or two Korg esx's?)
