Registering the Infinite Player

Hi all,
I just bought the whole Infinite Player with all the cool drum stuff on the latest GB. I notice there is a registration key there. I haven't owned any NI stuff for awhile and their website info seemed a bit obtuse to me. Could someone give me an overview of how to register this thing with NI? I am guessing I have to
A. Set up an account. (It's been many years since I was even there.)
B. Download something in the way of software just to enable me to register? (WTF?)
C. Use the registration key to make the Kontakt player legit.
Thanks in advance for your help.

1) Set up an account at NI's site. 2) Make sure you install NI's 'Service Center' which should be installed when installing the Infinite Player / Kontakt 2 Player. 3) After installing the IP/Kontakt Player launch Service Center, enter your account info, enter the serial number for IP, then let SC connect and authorize.
Service Center is used for all NI stuff these days, and IP uses the NI Kontakt Player as the engine for the samples.

Thanks mn,
The price we pay for our goodies. It kinda sucks having to download a NI app, just to use one of their products. It probably monitors my every move or something. I will follow the steps. Thanks so much for the advice.
Cheers,
Geoff

We noticed you had eggs for breakfast but why not toast today? (Sorry, we've been monitoring your ever move since you installed that app... btw who is that girl?).geoffrey wrote:Thanks mn,

Just kiddin'! But, anyway, that's just how those Kontakt Player apps work with registration. The good thing is that Infinite Player is such a WIDE format for us so you only have to go through that once and you an add on away on www.downloadablesoundz.com as we keep adding all sorts of great new Infinite Player content (with no need to do that again).
