Cool olicana, I'll delete the wav.

Brainovulation, there are 2 tracks by the same name. Should I delete both?
I'll take it you have got in there on time if you want to get back to me as soon as poss and sort out what should/shouldn't be in there.

If you can instruct me, even if it is a wee bit beyond the deadline, I'll be happy to assist.


Good luck everybody, still a few hours to go in some parts! .... in any case I wont be closing the folder for about another ten hours ( like mid morning around these parts ).

thank you, they are the same track...but 1 was named wrong...(OUT11meal instead of OAT11meal....just a typing mistake )..the right one according to the txt file is "oat11meal"(you should delete "out11meal")....hope it's not a problem and sorry for messing up :oops:

olicana ... I've deleted the wav, and the extra copy of your text file.

BrianOvulation ...

The two tracks you have in the folder appear to be identical. Is that the case? if so, I can delete one copy. if this is an entry you want to stand, then fine ... and the text file has been posted the right way .... i.e. named in the correct way so it sits next to the mp3 of same name.

If you want to enter another track, then fine! I dont remember any significant discussion re. this, so I cant see anyone objecting.

The thrust of this comp as far as I'm concerned is all about exploring a particular synth, demonstrating what is possible with it, and, more important, activity and participation! .... So in those terms, another track it would be a good thing! :hihi:

my mp3 is the only one that doesnt stream wtf? anyway listenin to the other entries....some great stuff.
the first mp3 i uploaded had some error code...i uploaded another one and now the stream works. (delete the first one).

olicana .... I see a second instance of your track has appeared in the folder. Is this identical and been uploaded in error? or is it an updated mix?

....and we have another entry! cheers Diek ... thats now 9 tracks!! ... a whole 50% more than the last comp! :party: :tu: :clap:

Hi all!

I tried to make a new song with Outmeal but still not finished.

So I've posted the first song I did with this beauty. Just an instance with no Fx.

For me the best of Outmeal it's the way it carries you. It's like a living synth. If you layer it with another synth you can create magical evolving soundscapes.

It's one of my favourites, so I couldn't miss this contest ;)

BTW, the title of the song it's Dancing Ice

I posted it passed midnight in my time zone. It's just the pleasure of being in :)

Just uploaded an attempt I put together today (file is "Oatscollider - Marcusz").

It's an odd little piece... really more a noise/beat collage than a tune. Enjoy.

uploaded another tune "Organica". this is my official entry. was able to take my time on this and although the composition makes no sense (tired and high on coffeee) i'm happy with the sounds.i concentrated on makin "organic " sounds for this. btw i noticed workin at 96khz benefits oatmeal quite a bit.
