Hello there,
I'm new to looping and to Augustus Loop in general. I have bought it because I have been working on improvising vocals using the infinite repeat setting in Logic's Delay Designer and want to be able to have a looped portion last longer than 4 bars, which is the limit with the Logic plugin.
I have been able to successfully create very long loops by manually hold down the Hold Rec button, but I'd like to be able to set it to run within the Logic songs bpms and have it set to just record 8 bars, or in some cases 16 bars. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this! I apologize if this seems like a stupid question. I have read the manual, but just can't seem to get it to automatically loop more than 4 bars.
Thanks so much. I really appreciate any help I can get!

Try this:
- make sure your Max Delay Time is set high enough (default is 10 seconds which is probably a lot less than 16 bars).
- turn on Host Sync
- set the Beats Divisor to 1/1
- set the Beats parameter to the number of bars you want to loop.
