plus what u mean it is not a drum synth? what features does it miss to beconsidered a drum synth?
most drum synths are basically synth presets with a few controls .
check the track by "2 many synths" ....do those drum sounds feel weak to u?
I meant it isn't specifically a drum synth.

I don't generally like all-synthetic arrangements but I may still try to do one for this competition.

A one-synth challenge isn't really going to be your bag then, I guess.

Organic sound isn't Elek7ro's strong suit. It takes a bit of work just to get it to respond to velocity or aftertouch in the way that synths with more modulation control do. But a decent sequencer or a host like Bidule can get over some of those limitations.

I iike that synth and working on a track with only one synth is a very good idea and i started to improve my skils as you can hear. Personally i miss two things, more filtertypes to make morre different sounds with that machine and a real cool modmatrix to make modulations. The rest is really okay... *THUMBS UP*

Yea, you're right. Don't get me wrong, I love synths, but when it's nothing but synths, somehow it gets deflated and sounds too artificial to me. I always have acoustic drums in addition to any synth drum sounds I use, but my style is kind of an electronic pop as opposed to other kinds of electronica where nothing but synths might be more likely.

Do you not know how to synthesizer percussion?! (I am having no problem with percussion here.) Still working on my track.

Given the absurd CPU consumption of this vst, you don't have much of a choice but to use only one synth.

I'm not sure I understand this prize. What if you do not own Synlenth1 at all? Surely that would render this prize meaningless (unless you actually get Sylenth too, but I highly doubt that). :?

The prizes are uselesse for me, too because i am a Mac user. I made this song just for phun and not to earn any prizes...

I think you understand, since you answered your own question!

And....

The prizes shouldn't really be the determining factor on whether or not you join this or any other challenge. It should however be based on your want to create music/noise/soundscapes/creative expressions and garner your 2 seconds of KVR fame.

But, yes I understand the prizes are limited in respect to OS and software used and owned.

However The T-SHIRT design can be used by all unless you are a full time nudist

Here are 54 presets I made on Elek7ro for you guys to use if you like. I tried to show what this beast is capable of.
Almost all of these presets are very interesting and fun. They really showcase the synths capabilities and your fine synth programming talents!

Thank you for sharing. :D
