So, Kim's been blogging...

How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

I use this thing from Google Reader

Subscribe as you surf

If you find yourself repeatedly visiting a website to check for updates, or if you just stumble across a page you want to keep track of, you can easily subscribe to it in Google Reader using the subscribe bookmark.

To use the subscribe bookmark, simply drag the link below to your bookmarks bar. Then, when you're on a web page, you can click the bookmark to view it in Google Reader.

Code: Select all

javascript:var%20b=document.body;var%20GR________bookmarklet_domain='http://www.google.com';if(b&&!document.xmlVersion){void(z=document.createElement('script'));void(z.src='http://www.google.com/reader/ui/subscribe-bookmarklet.js');void(b.appendChild(z));}else{location='http://www.google.com/reader/view/feed/'+encodeURIComponent(location.href)}
Once you see the feed preview, confirm your subscription by clicking the "Subscribe" button within Reader.

Rad.

If you do some coverage of composition, you'll definitely keep me comin back.
Since this happened to me when I started, and I've seen a number of other people have the same issue, addressing 'loopitis' and the traps you can fall into while composing and arranging in DAW's would probably be a pretty hot topic. It's too damn easy to get overly focused on the technical stuff just to end up laggin on the creative end of things.

Good idea!
