i just finished downloading and installing IP and all the Group Buy Kits from esoundz... everything looks as if it has installed and is working except i can NOT get the IP Library installer to install ANY of the zip files i downloaded. Anyone else having issues with this? When i Drag the ZIP file onto the Installer - it INSTANTLY says the Files loaded, but when i check in the IP assigned folder, nothing has been added to the File Folders and the installer was WAY too fast to have actually installed anything, It switched INSTANTLY to "Files Loaded" when i dragged the ZIP files onto it, i know it did not INSTALL 12 of them THEM in 1 second. i tried installing them individually too, to NO avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had quite the same Problem, my installer didn't do anything. I just installed the files manually.
You have to unzip the Libraries. Each Library has all or a subset of the folders:
- Instruments
- Multis
- Samples
Just copy these folders to <program files>\Sonic Reality\Infinite Player\
It is a bit more work, but the results are the same!

...Thanks for the Response, i actually TRIED to UNZIP the folders to do a Manual install and could NOT get them to UNZIP... there is no Program i have that can UnArchive them to my desktop, i wonder if the Files i was given are corrupted? ...i downloaded the Free ZIPEG software too, but that was no help! I wish i COULD Unzip them to install manually! ...are there MAC Specific Zip files, could i have gotten the wrong ones?

.....Just curious - are you Using a MAC, like i am? ...i suppose the files could have gotten corrupted, but not sure why they would. I downloaded 12 of them, NONE of them will Open or Install.Guetiger wrote:I had no Problem unzipping them with WinRar. There is a demo available, i think.
Maybe your downloads got corrupted...

There's a very good chance that you did not download the complete zip. You can check your individual zip's sizes against the listed zip size in your user area where you got them from to make sure it matches up. It won't work if you don't have the full zip (it can't, it needs to have everything). These are large files so it's good to have a download manager if you're having trouble downloading them.
We don't recommend unzipping and doing a manual install. That's because the complex folder hierarchy is necessary for the patches to find the samples easily (otherwise it might have to search and I doubt anyone would want to wait for that).
The library installer does work. It's best to contact support (at) esoundz (dot) com and give them the specs of your computer OS, RAM, HD space, type of internet speed etc so they can help you.

Thank you for the Help. I will contact Allen later today. I checked 1 of my Download kits the "Bonzo beats" and MY Zip is 4.6MB, which is MUCH smaller than the listed file size on esoundz, i assumed the listed File size was the Expanded file size... i presume you are saying the Listed File size is the ZIP file size, if so, i need to figure out how to do it, my Firefox Browser downloaded the files and stopped on its own, i do not know of anyway to control a file download with my browser... maybe Allen can help.Squids wrote:There's a very good chance that you did not download the complete zip. I had to manually install about two-thirds of them as well. There were quite a few that ended up being incomplete downloads, so now I'm downloading the zip and then opening it to test to see whether its corrupted.Guetiger wrote:I had quite the same Problem, my installer didn't do anything. I'm also looking inside the folders in order to make sure everything is in its place. For instance, the Motown MT Kit wouldn't install everything correctly (graphics were incomplete), so I had to place the Studio Profiles nkx and nkc files into the Infinite Player folder. The last time I downloaded the Blues Kit (tonight), it had two copies of the kit folder (one with some folders titled "Nashville Sessions"), but the files worked just fine.
I joined the group buy twice, but thankfully, I only have a couple more to re-download, test and install. So far, the kit giving me the most problems is the Ed Greene Kit which I've downloaded 3 times on 3 different IP addresses after re-starting my DSL, each time being corrupted. I'm going to try a couple more times, if needed, before I put in a support request.

hmmmm.... my problem was not getting Full File Downloads, so i could not even UNZIP them to do a Manual install...i called and Allen at esoundz and he explained a problem with their Downloading server NOT giving full files, i tried the downloads again this evening, i still had some problems GETTING the files, and am Downloading them now as i type this, I will know tomorrow when i get up again if they worked, after a few attempts some of them STOPPED after 20 minutes or so, but i believe they are Downloading again now properly. Not sure what is happening with their Server... but it may take some time and Patience to get them all. Good Luck to all with it.PointOfDeparture wrote:I had to manually install about two-thirds of them as well. The server was hit HARD with a lot of people downloading at once. But, it dished it out quite well actually. Most of the problems with people downloading was on their end - usually to do with their download manager. Any interrupts would need to be set to resume for example. These are large files so downloading them requires patience. But, yes the file size listed in your user area IS the zip file size for reference. If what you've downloaded isn't matching that then chances are you don't have the full zip and need to re-download or use another browser or download manager tool to get files this size. Since each person's internet service is different some of these things are naturally out of our control. We'll still make sure you get it though and investigate as much as we can. There's no problem with our servers at the moment, just to clarify.
