I'm really really genuinely excited about what they have to unveil. I've noticed that the conferences seem to be kicking off around 1pm UK time so not long to go. Haven't anticipated something so much since the usual Apple keynotes.

The Swedish conference starts in about 30 minutes and goes on for 4 hours. If they're doing this in true Apple style, ****** will be announced as "one last thing...". So it's still some time off.Colin Bennett wrote:I'm really really genuinely excited about what they have to unveil. I don't like reason as a whole package ...For me it works counterproductive...That awfull sequencer ( I'm a loyal Renoiser
But still ...Thor /mahlstrom are 2 wonderfull instruments ...so maybe a vst or whatever version that can be loaded separately into the new host ....Anyway , verry small chance that I will change host soon , Renoise ftw ....

This isn't going to be Reason 5. It's a completely new product so lets give Propellerheads the respect they deserve because whether you like Reason or not, they were the very first to bring emulated instruments and the whole integrated computer workstation to the masses.

I like their products, and I'm very keen on seeing what this is.

Beat me to it. Propellerheads have announced a new audio recording product -- "RECORD".

this is a lot like what i wanted to use on my last project - i was considering using lots of mashed clips and reversed audio etc, but i found i don't really own a tool that's good for that.. maybe this is an audio editor with groovebox like capabilities..? a looping tool short of buying ACID?
it sounds very cool to me so far..
and thanks for the lightning fast posting!
now i can finally go to bed.... lol.....
