Can't we just use the presets from the demo version of Modelonia full version?

Yeah I hope that many would think that way, and anyway I would also love to hear the impressions of tweaking the Player from who downloaded itAloysius wrote:Modelonia (FULL Version) is listed at 51 Euro in your shop! I think at this cheap cost, it would be worth buying, rather than having to work with the limitations of the FREE player!
I do appreciate getting a FREE player from you but even in these bad financial times, the FULL product, with FULL control, is worth thinking about purchasing for the silly-low price of 51 Euro!!! It is a BARGAIN at that price IMHO!
No need to apologize, <grin>, and I partially agree with you, just please review these next 3 points:dreaddd wrote:grazie Luigi
if i can hairsplit some, im not a big fan of the latest installers, as they can be very intrusive as creation of folders and settings..
if i can go further, if any other vsti/vst i have installed should have created folders on documents folder or around my hd, it would become a nightmare to reorder after few installs...
can the next versions please let us choose where to put ANY folder? i had the same problem installing demos of PrimaDelay and BDM, none at all, instead, with the previously released NUsofting pluggies..
in fact i ll need to avoid installing such latest in my workplace pc for instance: i did it only on my proper audio pc at home, although having extra folders in my usual document folder structure is not a thing i like much..
sorry for being picky with a freebie, Luigi, apologize me
Peace
Actually it is , but just I don't have the Mac builds yet, it will takes some days, sorryMitchK1989 wrote:So why is the player windows only when modelonia is cross platform?
Yes, the chance depends on sales, if this Player Mix&Morph would help me to sell more of the others productsMusical Gym wrote:Any chance of getting pitchbend +-12 semitones adjustable plus ADSR controls??
No, you can use the demo version of Modelonia full to preview the presets and tweak them, but you can not import them in the Modelonia PlayerMCnoone wrote: Can't we just use the presets from the demo version of Modelonia full version?
EDIT by ME: . . . but now with this Modelonia Player you can put the NUSofting Data in any place you like. So if you missed that download again the installer and see for yourself. Of course I will update the other NUSofting plugins to work the same.

1) Almost any synth plugin on Windows beside the DLL uses an external file or a folder of files, colud be for presets, MIDI CC map,
skin bitmaps or samples if used.
2) Most of the VST Hosts scan the plugins folder frequently and the more the files there : the slower the Host become to scan and find the plugins. Therefore it's better to have the less files as possible in the plugins folder.
3) To fix that I started to use the "NUSofting Data" folder at first in "My Document" and in "Application Data",
but now with this Modelonia Player you can put the NUSofting Data in any place you like. So if you missed that download again the installer and see for yourself. Of course I will update the other NUSofting plugins to work the same.
I don't think doing more to this plug would be a good business move. It is supposed to be a taste to make you want to buy the full instrument.Musical Gym wrote:Ability to mute individual sound sources would be nice.
Also ability to turn off or adjust effects...
I noticed that pitchbend works on one or more patches but not on others.
yes I hope that will work in the long run, <wink>, obviously is Modelonia is not for everyone, is quite targeted for games, movies, documentaries soundtracks, where new eveocative orchetral spectri are needed. Anyway Modelonia is good also for "wind like" solo instruments, flutes etc..., and plucked sounds (but od course there are many other plucked synth plugins especially on PC)ATS wrote:I don't think doing more to this plug would be a good business move.
