Yep, and it runs great (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.) Also, I'm not sure what to attribute this to, but I can run with lower latency in Windows 7 than I could in Vista 64-bit without any dropouts at all. (Actually, I can run with the minimum latency for my sound card in Windows 7 whereas I could not in Vista 64-bit.) This is even while doing other stuff like IE, Outlook, etc. I just can't make the sound card drop out at all. I'm using the MOTU 828mk3.spaceman wrote:anyone running it in Windows 7? (64bit)
Not only that but now I can hum a tune into Cubase and it will turn it into a MIDI track for me. That's cool for doing wind solos/improvisations and other things. Means I don't have to hack it in 50 takes on the keyboard!LawrenceF wrote:Not specific to Cubase or any particular daw but I think this is a common misperception. I actually think the right host - one that makes you very comfortable and doesn't block the creative process - actually can make the music better (for solo artists recording themselves) by reducing frustration and enhancing creativity.tomg wrote:That's good too just realize that it's not going to make your music any better.
It certainly does.captain caveman wrote:Btw, on that note - does the new PitchCorrect plugin have a live MIDI output?
Are you sure? I know that you can export MIDI from Variaudio, but I didn't see a way for PitchCorrect to export MIDI. Did I miss something?sessionthree wrote:It certainly does.captain caveman wrote:Btw, on that note - does the new PitchCorrect plugin have a live MIDI output?
Yes. Create an audio track with the Pitch correct plugin inserted on it. Change scale source from "Internal" to "External - MIDI". Now create a midi track, and set it's output to track "track name:Ins.1-Pitch Correct".koolkeys wrote:Are you sure? Can you translate the amplitude/vibrato of your voice to midi CCs too? or only midi notes on/off?RichieBee wrote:Not only that but now I can hum a tune into Cubase and it will turn it into a MIDI track for me. Ah, sorry I must have misunderstood the original question then.koolkeys wrote:Yes, that's what I was talking about. I think that's what the question was above as well. Maybe I misunderstood. I knew you could make MIDI trigger the PitchCorrect, but I was talking about having the plugin export MIDI.
