If a 5-stage module can be chained then wouldn't it be simpler to just have a 1-stage module which can be chained? I think there could also be a companion module which would have an audio input instead of the sample playback?

Perhaps more clutter with 1 module for 1 sample - what if you wanted 25 waves?

Two things from me:

More filters are always welcome! Maybe something close to the Yamaha GX-1/SY-1(2)? A dream I have ;)

Undo-function?
Can't have enough of 'em. MadGav's filters are great and they don't need DSP's.

Leave the 3 sub outputs as is, but make one output for every channel instead. That makes 16 + the stereo master.
That would be neat. The reason for the extra subouts request is that I want to process each channel separately. As it is today, I only use 3 channels of each Vazmod instance.

I have felt that Vaz was complete for a long time- but if you are going to add something I guess:

-some kind of granular filter

-as has already been listed- a 'transwave' -sample module with mod control of loop start/end

-a 'tape' module with play/Rec buttons and wow/flutter/saturation controls would be nice for bringing in field recordings

+1 Automation Module

also, is there a chance to have a module that ports an output to the next channel of vaz? ie you run a weird clock system on synth 1, then port its time pulse, or whatever, into synth 2, so the same timing can run the drum machine.
come on you ..... lets have some aphex acid.

i'm very happy with the functionality and the sound of VAZ modular. call me stupid but for me the look of an instrument is also quite important and i feel that the interface looks a bit dated. don't get me wrong, i think the layout is perfect but i would prefer a better (slightly more modern but still vintage) look of the sequencer, the mixer, the frames of the different windows and so on. that would make working with VAZ even more enjoyable for me.
cheers

I'd like the option to maximise individual synth windows and better scrolling behaviours. Having to move the windows around and resize them manually is kind of annoying.

Another feature i'd like to see is the ability to trigger vst instruments using the vaz sequencers. I don't tend to use vst instruments as vaz has what i need but it seems like a logical step for vaz. imo.

Only three things to request:

1. Up to 32 Multiple outs for the VSTi.
2. Multi CPU aware.
3. Proper VST automation.

I'd love a cross channel i/o module.

It would be great if there also was a "Multi-square". The Multi-saw is really good! (not only for supersaw's ;) )

I'm pretty shure the multi osc outputs both saw and square waves as i remember it. You just need to chose between saw or square when you input it to a mixer or amp module or whatever.

on the pitch/tone glitch modules, would be good to have a few modes, one where it just loops (like normal) and another where you can loop forward once, then backwards, then forwards, etc.
Also, would be good to have a retrigger on these modules, so you can restart the recorded 'glitch' part with a pulse or trigger.
Also, could we get a module that measures cycles, then outputs a cv-like value?
finally (for now) a 16 part switch...
come on you ..... lets have some aphex acid.

Here's is an Idea ...

Do something with the help files tuitorial 4-7 = "not done yet "

; the manual is very bare bones and incomplete.

It's probably not as fun of a way to spend time as adding another widget , But it's actually just as important really.

And , consider lowering the price a bit !! $300 usd is a bit steep . I'm not saying it's not awesome software , but there are others ( virsyn Tera = $250 , KarmaFX synth = $100 Devine Machine Krishna = $200 )and any one of these will probably get my $$ next, since $300 seems to be out of whack in comparison.

2010 is $150 the it doubles to go to V3 modular ..Twice :-o ..... Seems like $225 would make more sense.

Once again ( I already put the flame proof suit on in preperation for the fanboy assault)... I know this is good software and you put the effort into it , just seems to be a bit out of step with the market conditions .

Cheers

I'd like to see the mixer expanded a little. Eq on each channel would be good and more fx sends with eq/volume etc on the fx returns. Maybe even the ability to resend fx thru another fx channel for quick feedback delay stuff. I know all of this can be done in individual windows but the mixer is a very important part of mixing and having quick access to overall eq of individual channels etc would be a bonus.
