MrAlias2 is my all time favorite synth, so I couldn't wait to make my entry for this challenge.

i don't know. i haven't even given myself a deadline for deciding on a deadline. fifteen years is probably enough time, but i think it'll be more like a month.

This is my actual entry. I posted a decoy earlier today because it wasn't ready.

This is all MrAlias, including drums and I think I used it in an effects slot once.

I made it in about fifteen minutes and it's absolutely terrible.

i'm enjoying the entries so far. more would be great. if there are no objections, i think it would be nice to put them all on the Mr. Alias page of my website, as a downloadable compilation album... anyway, i'll give this some thought and contact everyone individually.

and yes i ruined my blind listening environment so i'll have to come up with another way to choose a winner.

p.s. if anyone sees page 18 of this month's Computer Music magazine, no i didn't actually use the word "vibe"

thanks! somehow i missed that this morning... i guess checking the forum every five minutes and ticking "Notify me when a reply is posted" is not enough.

anyway, i came here to announce a deadline for this competition, which will be three weeks from today. also known as June 7th, 2009. then i will give myself one week to choose a winner. so far, i want everybody to win... i'm in charge, so i suppose that is a possibility.

i'm going to amend the rules to include this, and that submitting a song means you give me permission to distribute it from my website. since there were already 9 entries without this provision, i will contact everyone individually to confirm their permission.

i've also been adding stuff to Mr. Alias (Pro). other than the pictured keyboard, which has its own special features, i'm adding a half-assed "mod matrix" and the ability to "decouple" each oscillator's pitch from the midi input. and much more!!!!!!!!!!
