beacause i have 2 f**king USB ports and my soundcars doesnt support hubs, nor does my midi controller, so i personally think its a shitty move from propellerheads
plus, how easy is it to steal the dongle while i'm playing live, like pretty much child's game, same reason i stopped giging with cubase after my dongle's been whacked by a moron from the back of my laptop
Yeah, I guess you have to watch out for those pickpockets who share the stage with you.
share? no way, the asses in the crowd did, try to control a crowd of mostly drunk, totally stoned people, everybody walks anywhere
i stopped someone from un-velcro-ing stomps from my pedal board DURING a song, so anything is possible (the guy got hit with a jagmaster pretty hard too lol)

Call me when Ableton overcomes the workflow concern.
The workflow concern of being one of the only ones that isn't stuck to the 50 year old linear audio recording paradigm? I really hope they don't overcome it.

Yes. That too. Please call.
History is full of two kinds of people.

That's because all developers that develope for both platforms prefer OS X.

PS. This thread is fun.

What struck me the most is that all the whiners cannot see Record as just another tool. They just have the urge to come over KVR/Props forum or other forums just to bash whatever they don't like about the software (which they won't buy nor use anyway...).
What struck me the most is that all the whiners cannot see that Record is just another redundant/non-revolutionary tool. They have the urge to come over to KVR/Props forum to bash anybody who doesn't think every Props project is the holy grail for music production.

Relax, its a messageboard. The point of this place IS to talk, no?I was following the thread with interest because I expected something amazing. I realized it wasn't and made the appropriate comments. I wasn't on a vendetta to bash the Props

Anyone know yet if Record can export recorded audio tracks to individual .wav files? Say for instance I really like the way Record records, but then want to use those tracks in a more robust mixing/post-processing app.

Sorry, let me make a small adjustment.

That's because all professional developers that develope for both platforms prefer OS X.

you did read the bit where you can play your entire gig without the dongle - you just need an internet connection
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

I'm quite interested in Record. But it sort of seems to me that they either put too much into the program, or not enough.

Yeah, I never use it either. It's nice to know it's there, if you're in a pinch, but I'm of the opinion that ALL real-time timestretching causes artifacting of some sort.
