as i found the tone of his post amusing - even if he got
it wrong..

JDark did something way cool in releasing his source,
'to promote the advancement of VST/SE creation', and
how laudable is that; it includes carefully compiled
SE modules and prefabs directories possibly taken
directly from his own installation folder/similar,
and it's a very convenient and educational resource
if you're checking out synthedit. just so ya know.
had a proper look at it the other day, really useful
for newbs. maybe he realised it was over-generous,
and the audience unworthy, lol, so pulling it. or
maybe figured it'd been up for long enough, for
those interested to pick it up. after a while such
things enter into the lore of VST and SE anyway,
via things like this thread. amen. stick around,

the novozuet shit has been around for months since someone took the time to compile it, and as jack does still hang around the net, and here, i'd be kinda surprised if he had a problem that he'd keep mum.

Listen to me dude, Jack never OKed the dist of his compiled commercial Novuzeit plugs AFAIK and no one here has proven otherwise so far.

Hey guys, I fancy the Antares Filter and the TC Electronics bundle right now, just like Jack Dark's Novuzeit plugs they are discontinued commercial plugs, so it should not be a problem for some of you to get them somewhere and upload up them here as has been done for those Novuzeit I guess...

Of course no one's going to do that for obvious reasons.

The strange thing is that those obvious reasons don't seem to apply to the Novuzeit plugs. Can you tell me why ?

Show me a statement by Jack Dark which supercedes what he said here on Kvr when he released the source of his plugs and I'll happily shut my mouth.

And btw, if I uploaded myself "gray stuff" as you say, it was totally unintentional and would have only be free stuff whose licence perhaps did not allow redist eventually. If so let me know which ones they are and I'll remove them immediately from my mediafire page.

Yeah I have got a mediafire page, a free one. All I have uploaded in this thread is there. After I noticed my unregistered uploads were persistant I registered the account. I can't find a link to the folder containing the files though, maybe that's not part of the free mediafire deal.

All this being said and done, I am not sure I will hang around too assiduously again in this thread (to the relief of some I guess ) cos I am migrating towards photoshop plugins right now. Trying to make some actually, I have just send some cash to share-it for the purchase of Filtermeister and I am awaiting for the serial number.

BTW now that it is acknowledged that redistributing the Novuzeit plugs is not legit, maybe it would be correct to remove them from download before asking anything to Jack IMO.

Ah im glad i did buy the TC Works TC Native Bundle & SparkFX Machine when i did. Great VST/VSTi plug-ins they are: The Sonic Destructor which comes/came with the Native Bundle is one of the best signal destroyers i know of Dom.

Dont know about antares filter never tried a demo when it was around, plus you would need an iLok. I love my iLok housing all my non-warez licenses

PSP Audioware do a great filter plug-in by the name of nitro.

Maybe you could demo that and buy yourself a powercore dsp setup? You wont find any better algo reverbs than the M-6000 derived powercore plug-ins, nor will you find a better TubeTech CL1-B official emulation and the Weiss EQ IIRC is incredible...

Your looking at good grand for that setup, if you can afford it though its money well spent Dom

hi spacedad, if paintdotnet was supporting ps plugs like it should (I understand by what you are saying that it doesn't) maybe I could have something simple done within a year or two. Btw most ps plugs can even be used in image viewers such as xnview or irfanview those days.

hi nekro, I am not going to invest heavily in audio stuff, be it hardware or software as I am not really a musician, my interest lying much more in triturating graphics than sound so it'll have to be a still decent second hand laser color printer before a powercore for me, but thanks for the advice anyway. I did hate your evil clown pic more than everything. Fortunately I did not have a shotgun at hand otherwise I would have destroyed my monitor that day.

Perhaps I can upload some of my graphics some day, nothing special but maybe the spacedad or RBR weirdos could use some of them as background pic for one or another new vst if they happen to like them.

and pinkjimi,please don't insist like that on being the devil by PM please, it's just pointless and stupid IMO.
