Hi guys,
I'm just looking for a simple, easy to use play along software, so I can practice my soloing skills in different styles by my own.
I've used band-in-a-box for some time, but it's a damn boring piece of software and I just want to have some fun and learn a little bit more about chord progressions and scales.
Any indication?
Cheers,
Raf.

OP said it was boring.giggedy wrote:Band in a Box
I have BIAB and I don't find it boring, but I've got like 3,000 styles to play with. I usually use it for backing tracks for CCM/P&W music to play through a GM keyboard.
Big downside is it requires you to plan out your chord progressions, you can't have it do something "on the fly" like arranger keyboards (yamaha psr series, for example) can.

Have you tried Improvisor? I demoed BIAB but could never understand the interface. Improvisor doesn't have nearly as much features, but it goes straight to the point, it's easy to use, and it's free!
