You can do a trance gate with the Matrix, not sure about beat repeat though. I expect someone clever has made a combinator that does something like itttoz wrote:which vid? i just cannot understand for the life of me how there is no pitch shift...Zargon the Destroyer wrote:No, there is no autotune at all.headquest wrote:Blank: Cool - that makes sense.
Do you know about the "tuner" on each track - is this for tuning your instrument, or does it actually pitch correct the tuning in your playing...?
It's for tuning your guitar etc. According to one of the vids, autotune (thingy) probably will be added at a later date.
Time-stretch yes.
Autotune no.
According to the vid anyway.
and there's no way to do a trance gate or beat repeeat stutter in reason/record is there? That's the most used stuff in lots of dance music, so i don't know what market they are aiming at

That's what Reason and (now Record) have always been about..Amberience wrote:I'm looking at this as more of a "lets get rid of the distractions" type of program.
There are plenty of options for VST users... How many DAWS do you need that do things the exact same way FFS?...
I say well done to the props for trying something DIFFERENT...God forbid we have a bit of variety around here..

Hmmmm.....To complain or protest, especially in an annoying or persistent manner.

As an owner of Recycle, ReBirth (I bought it), and Reason, I gave Record a quick peruse. It appears to me that it's a rather expensive add-on for Reason...for audio tracks.
Although I love the Props' offerings, I was pretty ho-hum about this one.
However, this doesn't not imply that some users shouldn't be excited about it. Perhaps, they need to do everything in Reason and want to stay within those confines? It's legitimate. After all, one might be more creative/productive without all of the VST/i variations that continue to mutate. The Reason rack is very fine.

I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?

Peff released soe form of beat Repeater Combi - think it might be available on his site, or maybe I got it from the props site - can't remember to be honest - but it's complex & it works - stutters beats & all that business.
There are plenty of 'glitchy' combis out there.
