i haven't been doing a whole lot of music lately, getting a bit more back into photography (just discovered HDR photography) anyway, these could be just the things to get me back into a bit of synth tinkering, they sound fantastic, like having a folder full of crazy old hardware machines, lots of character!
Stuff to inspire lots of tunes i think... great! thanks to the original poster and to whoever made these.. (the mellotron one is very similar to another free one i have used tho' -in gui and sound, cant remember its name.)

what!! you want to see some of my photos?

Just a quick translation from one of polish forums (eis.com.pl)

The guy says that he has been working on those vst's for four years now. For some time he was selling this vst pack on polish auction website which was doing well. The problem was going legal with it. At some point he got fed up with biurocracy and distributors as he could not set up an aggreement that would allow him to focus more on developing his products than constant struggle to move forward with this business (just to let you know he was doing all of that part-time as his main income is being a studio engineer). In the mean time his website on which you could have bought his vst's got hacked so he was unable to do business as before. That is why he moved to free hosting and eventually you can get those brilliant plugins for free now...

It is based on the forum article dated 20 July 2008.

There is an email on his website so at least all of us who like this product can thank him by sending good words.

Regards
Wojtek

they've been around a while then.. funny we didn't find them earlier.
Those Poles, keeping them to themselves  hehe

based on the recommendations in this thread I gave them a try and I was really impressed. It's nice to find something different to what I normally use and these are quality, maybe we should find a way to donate as a lot of time and effort obviously went into these.

much respect to Toms work, but his emulations are not even in the same ballpark as these beauties...
I know I was just giving Tom Props. Who else has made as many Vintage Emulations as him? :D
These plugs are really great, but you have me interested in TomG's stuff now. These are the EFM plugins, right? I've seen some on synthedit.info. Are there others, and where can I find them?
Look on page 400 of the big freeware thread

After playing a bit with these, I have to join the chorus. The ARP is really a joy to play. No idea if it sounds at all like the hardware, and couldn't care less, either. The string machine sounds wonderful too, especially with oligarc.

Isn't D16 a Polish company too? Isn't there a pattern looming in the distance of great plugins coming from Poland ? Germany, germany, beware!

Just checked and they have Polen written all over them:

BTW: Apart from the quality of the synths, have anyone else but me noticed the super-pro and stunning sound design of whoever programmed them?

I did! :D Seriously, these a commercial-grade (at the range of $100 or more) synths. Lovely GUIs, great raw sound, fantastic presets and low CPU? All check!

Post

amazingly raw and thick, smooth and tweakable. I have Orion and just did a taste test between these synths and the included generators with Orion. These things make Orions synths look like clicky toys. Even midi CC learn blows Orions natives away.
Whoever did these took the time to get it right and dam close to authentic. Excellent find guys!!

These are great!
I was ready to start a forum request about a Oberheim two-voice or four-voice vsti, and bang! here it is!
thank you!!!!
They do not sound like the original hardware, but who cares!
They sound great on their own!
I just cannot get any sound out of Ocet.
Any help?

Start your daw and push the start botton. Same goes for a lot of patches of the Or2v. Your daw has to run.
