Hi all

Just curious.... are there any other synths that can do the TOTEM sound like M42 nebula? Basically the sound involves taking the LFO speed to control the gate of an envelope, which at the same time is controlling filter cutoff. Add to that a high resonance, and random timbres coming from the LFO itself( or another mod source) I was able to do this on the Oddity demo, as it was first developed on an Arp Odysee, and used by Klaus Shultze in his *Picture Music* LP( the track Totem) But we developed it a bit further in M42 nebula using the unique ARP and Pulsar.(For info on M42 nebula , check out the demo, see sig.)

Just wondering if there are any more TOTEM generators out there!

some guy , name of tim something , made some wonderful absynth patches that would probably qualify ...

Wusikstation, I even created a totem tutorial bank (with Tim's help) that William put up for download on his site!

Oh Yeah! I still can't get 'em to sound like M42...but getting very close.

I'm writing a review of M42 Nebula for the soon upcoming issue of WSM. Well, of course there has to be a discussion of Totems. So I found this thread, and asked William about the Totem set for Wusik Station. He volunteered to repost the soundset.

So that is the whole story.
