People with G.A.S. usually want everything they own to be compatible with everything they own.. Otherwise they feel like they're being screwed out of money...
*HEY!! Why isn't this software compatible with my ten different DAWs and my 300+ expensive plug ins?* *This is why I don't get any damn music written!!*

The props are trying to do something D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T....Don't like it? Use something else..
and i thought it was people with g.a.s. who were interested in yet another "daw" :phones:

Simple.

No 3rd party VST crap in the way,

and Props retains its rock-solid reputation.

sorry if sum 1 else said this but i am not reading 84 pages! haha

check out record on the propellerhead's website...they have a host of features which are awesome including the SSL console emulation instead of having a standard mixer...other than that it can load reason's project files too and they have a combo pack for reason+record which costs comparatively lesser than the latest cubase.....i'd go for it anyday.....

Post

hey mark there's 83 pages before this one, you might want to check them out.. :P

80+ pages and yet no flame fest? Is that a KVR first? I haven't read it all, though. ;)

I'm still down with this software as my scratchpad. I use reason as such , why not add recording functionality to it?

Kind of dissapointed this won't have MIDI-out. Would have been good to control my external synths from Reason's RPG-8 & then record them into Record. I don't really want VST's in Record & certainly not in Reason. That just wouldn't work. So either way I'm still using another DAW/sequencer possibly with Record/Reason Rewired into it. Not entirely convinced by Record but I'm a massive Reason & Propellerheads fan.
