Hello, since I'm not allowed to post in the FL forum I'll try here.
I've tried the FL demo from time to time (after each update to see if it fits me) and while it is great I've always wondered why the mousepointer is so off when inserting notes/patterns (pianoroll/playlist). So weird and awkward when the delete tool is correct. Someone said it worked correctly for him so I was wondering if this only happens in the demo ?
Is it supposed to behave like this ? If so, why doesn't the delete tool behave the same way ?
I remember Cubase had this "bug" back in vst 5 or something and so many people hated it so they fixed it.

It's not a bug. Clips and notes are aligned to the nearest grid line you click on.

You can change the snap setting to "Cell" to change this behaviour.

It comes in handy when painting a long lane of patterns snapped to bar at a distant zoom. Think of how hard it would be to place each pattern right at the start of a bar or even at a half or quarter beat position :o?
