I found the .dll-s separately, but question: have you got any serious problem while you were using these plugins? (apart from that you were not able to sleep last night...

Someone call Scott Solida and the boys from Computer Music. These need to be on the cover and if possible included in CM Studio. I still don't think these are ALL synthedit creations as one has 2 Portamento knobs - meaning 2 Midi to CV modules. I've asked about putting 2 Midi to CV controllers in one synth for a JP-8000 sim and was told unequivically it couldn't be done. No matter. I've been playing with these for 3 days and haven't got bored yet.

though they, and Robert as their creator, definitely deserve the kind of promotion you suggest, their addition to CM roster of plugins won't do justice to folks that have yet to discover them, since Robert and everybody else will thus not be permitted to distribute them freely anymore, unless i misunderstand the idea

You can have more than 1 midi-to-cv in seperate containers. I have a drum machine with 4 containerised midi to cv's.
Not sure how that would work on a synth, you could io mod the pitch and gate, maybe it would be cool?

And when it comes to these Plugins being in the CM Studio it is up to the Creator/Author when and how they can be distributed. They can still be Freeware and be in the CM Studio if both the author and CM agree on it. Although they would probably need to change the name to ElektroStudio CM? If they won't put them in the CM Studio at least put them on the DVD in the Free Software Folder. All the TAL Plugins have been on the CM DVD and their still Freeware obviously.

Have to agre with Rangtangtang. Although there is much love for these synths on these boards, have to say I tried them, tried desperately to like them, but ultimately deleted them.

Thanks for the response but this just isn't working for me. Yes I have the sequencer running, I tried every octave on the keyboard but none start/stop the Rythmus.Mac of BIOnighT wrote:BTW: I don't remember who asked how to start Rhythmicus (I got the name wrong, probably, haven't learnt them yet) from the keyboard: for me it's with any key of the third octave, just check which is yours, but remember that the sequencer must be running for both this and Ocet to play!
I'm doing a work around, start it without any of the rhythm buttons engaged and then using MIDI CC to switch them on and off.

I can not start it from the keyboard either, instead my keyboard respond as if Rythmus was a sound module, that is, I can play each sound individually.cbadley wrote:Thanks for the response but this just isn't working for me. However I can both start rythmus (daw has to run though) and switch the rythms with midi messages. In Orion all midi functions are mapped and labelled automatically, which makes the proces a piece of cake.

Hi, relative newbie here
Can someone please help me with how these apps should be correctly installed on my PC or does it not matter?
I downloaded the 10pak zip file. It extracts all the different apps and related files into 1 folder. The apps do appear to be working (they are great!) but I wonder if some of the other files like the dll files are supposed to be placed in specific locations on my PC or organized in some way. There are no installers that I can see. Is it OK to just leave all these apps loose in that folder with the other files and just store it anywhere on my hard drive, or should they be properly installed via some procedure?
Thanks for any help.
