I didn't manage to get any of the drum plugs workng in Ableton Live 8 [WinXP] last night, but then again, I didn't try very hard. I just wanted to add my thanks and praise to the developer for all of the other VSTs in the pack. They are IMHO absolutley great. Keepers! I'm very impressed. Thank you very much for your generosity!!!

thank you. it was actually the previous owner (and an author of these plugins) - Robert will to remove the links because of one nasty "loudness" bug that it's rare (so far I couldnt replicate it) but it clearly exists for some people. I hope that the plugins will be available soon, at least few of them - maybe with some new presets, and new functionality, who knows (I know - I should :hihi: )

gambaytheunspoken wrote:Bkunku, while I am willing to entertain the proposition that I am indeed, as you put it, "a complete idiot," for not liking "quality plugins," I have to take issue with your reading skills. First of all, did I say in my very brief, perhaps ill-advised post that these were not "quality plugins"? I believe I made no mention of this phrase, Sir. Therefore I find it curious that you even introduced this term in response to my post. I believe you were distracted in your response and I am sure you would like to make amends. If this was the case, apology accepted. Second, I merely stated my taste with reference to the instruments under discussion. And this was/is that I didn't particularly care for them. Nothing to do with their quality, free or otherwise. Just not my cup shot of brandy. Thirdly, perhaps I was a bit rash and I offended your sensibilities by confessing that I had deleted them from my hard drive, but I do this with most things that I don't use on my computer. As they say, the most beautiful rose can at times be a weed if you don't want in your frigging garden. So enjoy the synths, as you should because you like them and you think them of quality, which they probably are. But, you know, us musicians are fickle, at times idiotic, often clueless beings who inhabit realms and domains beyond the ordinary, some of us even claim to be from Saturn. But in the end it comes down to taste and what gives you pleasure. And if you find these instruments worthy of your affection and they bring enjoyment to your spirit, who am I to be against such a thing for it is indeed a blessing and a gift and a marvel.

Ciao!
Man someone doesn't No how to take a Joke do they? Chill and put on a Happy Face. We at KVR do a lot of joking around so don't take everything we say seriously obviously. I do still find it hard to believe you deleted these though? What ever floats your Boat I guess. Peace. :D

That is what I thought but please go back to page 24 and read my comments to him and his comments to me!

Since I just made them, later on I could slightly remix or remaster them or leave them the way they are, depending on the direction the project will take.
Once again, a huge thank you to the developer!!!
Wow, nice :)
I'll let the Elektrostudio guy (his name's Robert) know about it.

Can I use these mp3 on my website as some kind of Analog Pack teaser mp3 preview ?

i grabbed the files when first they came out then never installed them until a couple of days ago
i got astonished by them...
bugs or not, who developed them made a VERY good work on the presets either, as i rarely heard such PLAYABLE and nice sounding presets on a whole pack of free VSTis, IMO...
thanks a LOT to the developer, and i hope he wont give up as hes very talented IMO

my 2 cents

ok, i loved this free-pack so much i decided to do a quick oxygeneII emulation in Cubase in order to showcase the sound quality a bit. here's the mp3:

http://www.d-os.org//Electrosound/oxygeneII.mp3

i used the following:
Rhytmus+Fazortan for the minipops7 rhythm part
Tapeotronic for the MTron choir
SXMJUNE for the delay-ed bassline
SXMJUNE for the sine 'flute' solo
SXMJUNE for the background sequence
ODSay for delay-ed s&h
ODSay for pink noise wind
MoonSonoSX for the LFO modulated hiQ noise

with the exception of the Fazortan, absolutely no others plugins were used.

apologies for any wrong-doings but i just did in an hour or so..

It depends on the usage. For example I cannot use the eSLine synth as a pad that plays the chords in the verse, because it will sound so artificial, even though I love its sound..
