Hi,
just out of curiosity, has anybody noticed this:
http://www.superwavesynths.co.uk/index.htm
The new demo songs are awful, BTW.
I messed around with Superwave P8 sometime ago, before the Superwave company vanished for years.

Don't buy anything from them. They disappeared without a trace a long time ago and many many people were stuck with no way to use their products if they needed to re-install them for any reason. They were even accepting orders and never fullfilling them for a time.
Buyers beware.

I'm with Karmacomposer on this, but...Superwave P8 is/was a pretty amazing synth in its time, for its price. If the company starts to honor its previous commitments, apologizes/explains in a credible fashion, then I'd be more willing to consider its products. Right now, I'm not. And it's not like i need another synth...

If there's one thing I have learned in my 34 years, it's that people hardly ever change. The complete lack of any info on their part makes it clear that no one should expect any different here.

Much of the Superwave presets relied too much on supersaws... it's a one-trick pony synth :/

just tried the demo. tarkus sounds juicy
however, its true this company left people in the dust and in the most malicious way way possible! something i heard from my mom once who's a domestic violence dispute counselor, when i asked her if people can change? her response, "people can change, but they don't change that much" replace the word people with company and...

For £20.00 for the trance pro, I'd give it a go! I always was the forgiving type and P8 is awesome

I just sent them an e-mail pointing to this thread. We'll see what happens. In the meantime from the new website............
FAQ
"Q8. Are there any other resources for SuperWave help and advice?
There are some great forums out there for those with an interest in synthesizers and most have very helpful members. A good starting point would be the KVR forum
[ top ]
Q9. When using multiple instances of the SuperWave Tarkus my VST Host crashed?
The crash is due to a multi-core processing issue and will be fixed in a future release. A simple workaround is to disable multi-core processing in your VST host, or, use only one instance of the Tarkus and bounce down to audio tracks."
I wouldn't buy anthing from then but I suppose everyone deserves a second chance.......................

Oh...we are so sorry. We had some problem with our servers, they went down for a while. Sorry for any inconvenience. But now we are back and we have soooo many goodies waiting for you!Angel Powerlord wrote:I messed around with Superwave P8 sometime ago, before the Superwave company vanished for years.
And if you were of the unlucky who ran out of reg codes while we were gone, you will get whole 5% off on ANY new products and an extra reg code for free. Now ain't that something?
