I spoke a bit soon as while the download process went fine after installing it I get crackles before every sound in Cubase. I have reported this as a bug here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 47#3559247

Hi All,

I just wanted to let you know that I just released version 2.0.8 for Windows that brings it in line with the Mac version and fixes the bug that stops patches loading correctly from fxp/fxb files and projects in Live.

Cheers,
John.

Hi All,

Scanned Synth 2.0.9 has now been released for Windows and OSX. This contains the following changes and fixes:

* Built-in preset management. You can now select and rename presets from within the plugin.
* Changed project saving in the AU version so that it saves the whole bank rather than just the selected preset, matching the VST version.

Cheers,

John.

Oh... And the demo version no longer stop you from loading and saving. :)

It's had that a while hasn't it? (I recall my FR way back getting responded to)

The only problem has always been that the buttons don't show up in the classic skin (and I don't like the default one) -- and just checked - that problem is still there

Yes, sorry about that. I need to ask Berend if he can add the Danger and Input Mix controls to the classic skin. Are those the controls you're talking about? The preset management has always been part of the host up until now.

EDIT - sorry not not danger and input mix - the load/save buttons - and they have been in it for several versions (otherwise it would be the first time I've brought it up, which it's not)

ooops - another problem with this one - it's not remembering the skin (at least not the "One" skin - it does recall the classic one but with "One" it reverts to default when restarted)

Also could it please have version numbers in the "about" screen to keep track of them?

thanks

Do you mean it's not remembering the selected skin from the previous installation or between uses of Scanned Synth Pro?

Yes, a version number display would definitely be a good idea and not hard to add. I'll get on the case.
